At MaSuite, privacy is not an afterthought or an optional configuration setting. It is the foundational architectural premise of our entire technology ecosystem.

1. Core Privacy Philosophy: Privacy by Design

The MaSuite ecosystem is conceived as a personal digital operating space. Because of this, our architecture follows three immutable principles:

  • Zero-Knowledge Architecture: Your files, notes, places, and personal communications are encrypted using keys that exist exclusively on your devices. MaSuite cannot read, decrypt, or monetize your stored content.
  • Data Sovereignty & Infrastructure: Core ecosystem apps are designed with strict data isolation. For this public placeholder website, waitlist submissions are stored in an encrypted database located in Oregon, United States (AWS us-west-2 via Supabase).
  • No Behavioral Advertising: We will never sell personal information, build behavioral profiles, or monetize your everyday activity through third-party advertising networks.

2. Information Collected on this Website

During the public placeholder phase of this website, we collect only the minimal information strictly required to communicate ecosystem launch updates:

  • Waitlist Email Address: When you voluntarily submit your email in the "Stay in the loop" form, your email is securely stored in an encrypted database located in Oregon, United States (AWS us-west-2 via Supabase). Access is strictly managed via Row Level Security policies.
  • Technical Metadata: For the sole purposes of spam prevention, rate limiting, and network security, our API logs minimal HTTP metadata: timestamp of submission, user-agent string, and HTTP referrer.
  • Local Browser Storage: We use your browser's native localStorage solely to record that you have submitted your email so that you are not prompted repeatedly on return visits. We do not use persistent advertising trackers or third-party tracking cookies.

3. Purpose and Use of Data

The information collected on this waitlist is used exclusively for:

  • Sending occasional updates regarding product milestones and alpha/beta availability.
  • Inviting verified subscribers to participate in early access programs for services such as MaNote, MaDrive, and MaID.
  • Protecting the security and integrity of our waitlist infrastructure against automated abuse.

4. Database Location & Legal Compliance

The database powering this public website's waitlist is hosted in Oregon, United States (AWS us-west-2 via Supabase). Although the website database is located in the US West region, your personal information is handled in accordance with strict Canadian privacy frameworks:

PIPEDA (Federal): Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act principles of accountability, identifying purposes, consent, limiting collection, and individual access.

Quebec Law 25 (Provincial): Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, guaranteeing confidentiality by default and prompt data erasure upon request.

Security & Transfer Controls: Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Data remains under MaSuite's exclusive custody and is never shared, sold, or accessible to advertising networks or data brokers.

5. Your Rights: Access, Deletion & Portability

You retain absolute ownership of your personal data at all times. You have the right to:

  • Verify whether your email is currently registered on our waitlist.
  • Request immediate, permanent deletion of your email address from our database.
  • Withdraw your consent to receive updates at any time.

Every update email will include a direct one-click unsubscribe mechanism. You may also contact us directly at contact@masuite.ca to request instant removal.
